With over 20 years of experience in working with mission teams, we hear at Stepping Stone understand what an impact a short-term missions experience can have, not only on those you are coming to minister to, but on those who have come to minister. We have seen lives changed and people ‘translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light” and it blesses us every time. Our heart is to provide a safe, caring, comfortable place during your missions experience, regardless if it is just one day as you travel in and out of Mexico, for a base camp, or if we are hosting you for a totally planned Mex Quest or Magi Project short-term trip.
Our 7 comfortable dorm rooms holding anywhere from 10 to 12 people can accommodate groups of up to 80 people. The facilities are air conditioned for those hot Laredo days and have heat for those cool winter nights (yes, it does get cold here for a few months!) to make sure you have the rest you need. Our kitchen provides exceptional home-made comfort food that has made us just a little famous with the goal to make sure you are energized as you go out to serve the Lord in those ‘fields white unto harvest’. Our staff delights in praying for you and your outreaches before, during and after your stay and can’t wait to rejoice with you in how God used you that day. With over 20 years of missions experience and 8 years of living in Laredo, it is our pleasure to assist you with directions to any resources you may need during your stay or logistical issues you might encounter.
